The company has been active in the automotive industry since 1934. Kaha Oy is ultimately owned by K.G. Knutsson (KGK), the second largest spare parts trading group in the Nordic region. The KGK Group is based in Sweden and has several subsidiaries in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
